Adam has been a coxswain and coach of university and masters teams for 30 years. He got his start in rowing at Willamette University, where he served as 4-year varsity coxswain. After graduation he stayed on as Assistant Coach for another 5 years. Over the last 20 years as an elementary and middle school teacher and educational assessment specialist, Adam has supported the University of Tennessee, University of Colorado, and Boulder Rowing programs in volunteer capacities. When not coaching or working his day job, he can be found fly fishing or exploring with his family.
